I can make good pancakes for 15 over an untrustworthy campstove nicknamed "Ol' Loki" while squatting on rocks in an unlit shed in the middle of a rainy field in Ohio.
However, home in my own kitchen, I manage to simultaneously under- and overcook them. Burned on the outside, creamy on the inside.
