all the roads are closed, i guess it's a snow day

A small plane just crashed into a building around the corner from here. The blessing is that the crashed-into building (cruelly named Edgewood Collision) was abandoned, and no one but the pilot was killed. It did not hit the elementary school down the block. Still, the news lady need not sound so thrilled. Interviewing an eyewitness, she said, (verbatim, I wrote it down) "Have you ever seen anything like that? No? Terrible to see. Very good. Well we have reports that the pilot may not have survived! We invite anybody else who has seen a piece of this to call us up."
