The editors of the New Yorker have endorsed Kerry, in a beautifully written essay. The Nov. 1 issue (with the four cardboard faces on the cover) is well worth the $4; it also includes 32 pages of photographs from Richard Avedon's unfinished portfolio, "Democracy." The editorial essay is available here, at least for now.
